“The Lord says that there is nothing that you can do that would make Him love you more. there is also nothing you can do that would make Him love you less. He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you because He loves you, because that is what He is like. it...

Hi from Salta once again.
Just a quick update this time. Just stopped off at the cafe on the way home from the building site. Today we´ve started on a new task of throwing cement at walls. Ben and I made a great cement mixing team. We´re all covered in cement splats though. Need to clean up before tonight’s trip to see the Salta Symphonic Orchestra for a cultured evening which I missed out...

Team Argentina 7 xxx
Last night we had a very cultured evening and took the pastor’s son to see the Salta synphonic orchestra! It was amazing and he absolutely loved it. It was very strange to see…
Here goes another quick update. The weather here is a lot warmer since the last update. As a team we are now in a semi-routine with our weeks and days. Work on the building site is progressing well with lots of trenches dug for the water, including a hole to the main sewage pipe in the middle of the road overt 2 metres deep.

Here goes another quick update. I still havn´t got any pictures! Next time I really need to plan what to say before hand.
We had our first day on the building site on Tuesday. The building has three rather high walls in place already for the main hall and the first floor of the other rooms. Work is done so differently here to anything I´ve seen before. Everything is done in little bits with more...
I´m here!
Just got a few minutes in an internet cafe to give you a quick update. We all got here safely and are settling in well, recovered from the long journey. The people are so so welcoming! The team is getting on great. We´ve done so many things already it´s difficult to know what to mention. All 13 of us are crammed into a small house but it´s all we need. We´ve been doing orientation for the...

You might have noticed the just giving button appear on the right. I’m now collecting donations towards the team building fund. This goes directly towards the actually cost of the work. Please consider supporting me in this way if you can. Thank you!
This is where it gets real
Oh wow, now I’m 20? Let’s just move on.
I spent last weekend about here (well worth a quick look). A random farm in east sussex but a great setting. For the first time I met the rest of the team to Argentina of which I will be a part.
Sitting on the train approaching the destination I was feeling rather nervous. Of course this was completely irational and pretty much as soon as I met...
If I can't stay in Southampton...
When I tell people about my summer plans I often get pretty worn out. I have not yet perfected the best way to tell people in a concise but full way. So read and I shall try and explain.
I do engineering. Yeah, it’s not glamourous but at least studying it a uni is interesting and I’m good at it. The vast majority of the time I really enjoy it which is more than a lot of essay-writing...

I almost feel proud of the little fellow; I’ve put so much effort into him all year. Building things has got to be one of the best parts of my degree. Now we have to hand it in to be disassembled by savage markers.
