This is where it gets real
Oh wow, now I’m 20? Let’s just move on.
I spent last weekend about here (well worth a quick look). A random farm in east sussex but a great setting. For the first time I met the rest of the team to Argentina of which I will be a part.
Sitting on the train approaching the destination I was feeling rather nervous. Of course this was completely irational and pretty much as soon as I met other steppers all fears were long forgotten. The orientation weekend was for all summer latin link steppers so there where several teams there all destined for south american countries. Here is team argentina! (minus one guy who was ill)
What a lovely bunch. Team dynamics are great and the weekend was full of fun. Once again the fact my name is an anagram of ‘semicolon’ was excellent ace card for those standard ice breaker questions. I also feel far better prepared, the people at latin link did a great job at answering questions.
However, the next time we see each other again will be at the airport in less than two weeks. Now it’s hit home that this is actually going to happen…
