Here goes another quick update. I still havn´t got any pictures! Next time I really need to plan what to say before hand.
We had our first day on the building site on Tuesday. The building has three rather high walls in place already for the main hall and the first floor of the other rooms. Work is done so differently here to anything I´ve seen before. Everything is done in little bits with more added over time. So far we have been mainly clearing out earth from inside of the hall with pickaxes and spades with a bit of brick laying on the final wall. It´s hard work but we are getting the hang of it and making really good progress.
Each day 3 people are on domestic duties mainly cooking, cleaning and shopping. The most difficult thing for me is adjusting to the cultur in terms of time keeping and shopping, it can be stressful until you learn to work their way.
